After the cave clean up in Glasgow a bunch of us met up again at the Hidden River Cave for a short cave trip. We spent about 2 hours in the cave. That was plenty. We had a long day of working and caving.

Hidden River Cave has a really nice musuem, a show cave tour, and a wild cave tour. Their website even has a short streaming video of the wild tour.

After walking for a bit on the show cave walkway we veered off the beaten path and climbed over the guard rail and onto some breakdown. We climbed down the breakdown, crossed a little stream then went up and down huge muddy slopes.

We really didn't see much in the way of formations, but what grabs you is the enormous size of the main passageway. Our lights sometimes had trouble reaching the ceiling or opposite wall. It never fails to amaze me.
